ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
i) Candidates seeking admission must possess either Bachelor Degree Certificates or equivalent from institutions recognised by the Senate of NOUN; or
ii) Holders of HND with a minimum of Lower Credit from institutions recognised by the Senate of NOUN.
iv) Candidates seeking admission into the School of Law must possess a minimum of L.L.B degree.

MASTERS DEGREE PROGRAMMES
i) A first degree from a University recognised by the Senate of NOUN in a related field of study.
ii) A postgraduate diploma in a related field from a University recognised by Senate may also be admitted.
iii) A good honours degree in Education (Arts, Languages, Sciences, Social Sciences, Vocational and Technical subjects) from any University recognised by the Senate of NOUN.

DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (Ph. D.) PROGRAMMES

i) For the Doctor of Philosophy degree programmes, candidates must possess a masters degree in relevant fields of study from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN with a minimum score average of not less than 60% or a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5-point scale.
ii) Candidates for Ph. D Programmes will be invited for an interactive session with the School of Postgraduate Studies before an offer of admission is made.
iii) Candidates are advised to forward transcripts of their academic records and three (3) referees report, 2 of which must be from persons very well acquainted with the candidate’s academic work, to the Dean of the School from which admission is requested.

DURATION OF PROGRAMMES
NOUN operates a flexible mode of study which allows a student to determine the pace, place, time and medium of study.

Do they conduct entrance Examination/Screening?
Answer:
No. Admission is given based on your qualification and working experience

Questions 2.
What is the duration of the Programme?
Answer:
Approximately 18 month (1year and 6 months)

Questions 3.
What is their mode of teaching?
Answer:
You will be given course materials to study from (while you are at home) or you can as well attend their study centre
Note. They are yet to operate online method of teaching

Answer:
Most of the courses are hand written while few are Computer based, course like Good Study (GST)

Result Verification (N10, 000), this will be paid by all Post-Graduate student at year of graduation

Questions 6.
Apart from the N22, 500 for New Student and N15, 500 for returning student, are there any other fees?
Answer:
Yes, you have to pay a fee of N2, 500 for each of your course Materials/Registration and N2, 000 for exam fee for each course you registered.
Let say you are offering six (6) courses
That is
6 x N2, 500 = N15, 000
6 x N2, 000 = N12, 000

N(22, 500 +10, 000 + 15, 000 + 12, 000) = N59, 500
Total cost a new student is expected to pay will amount approximately to =
N59, 500 (if you are offering six courses)
