UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR


The Governing Council of the Ambrose Alli University,
Ekpoma wishes to announce that the post of the University Registrar will be
vacant by 18th August, 2015. Accordingly, applications are hereby invited from
suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant post.

DUTIES OFTHE OFFICE

The University Registrar is the
Chief Administrative Officer of the University and shall be responsible to the
Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and control of the affairs
(other than the financial affairs) of the University.

 QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POST

The University Registrar should
have a good Honours Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
qualification plus 18 years relevant post-qualification experience out of which
eight (8) years must be within a University Registry or similar institution.
The candidate must also possess a record of good health. He/She must be ICT compliant.

TENURE

The University Registrar shall
hold office for a single term of five years and on such terms and conditions as
specified in his/her letter of appointment.

 REMUNERATION

A Consolidated salary for
University Registrar with NUC approved benefits and allowances as applicable to
the Nigerian University System/other
benefits/entitlements as approved by the Governing Council from time to time.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested candidates should
submit 25 copies of their application and Curriculum Vitae accompanied with
photocopies of their certificates and relevant credentials. Detailed Curriculum
Vitae should include:
Full names, Date and Place of
birth, Permanent home address, Current postal address, Nationality, Marital
status, Number and ages of Children, Educational institutions attended with
dates, Academic/Professional Qualifications (including dates and granting
bodies), list of Scholarly Publications, Statement of Experience including
Current Employment and Names and Addresses of three (3) referees. Applicants
should request their referees to forward on their behalf confidential reports
directly to reach the Vice-Chancellor before the date of interview.

CLOSING DATE

Applications from interested
candidates MUST be received on or before Friday, 11th September, 2015. All
