We congratulate you on your
success so far in the race of securing admission in the University of Benin,
all through the battle from JAMB to the Post UTME, you are indeed a champion. Now
you have done that, this is the last step to get qualified as a full pledge
student of the University
of Benin, even at this
stage you should note that it is not finished as due to one issue or another.
Some students in the past has
lost their admission to some preventable mistakes, I will like to list some of
these mistakes you should not make, some are however amendable but to others
there is no going back. This is to ensure you don’t repeat these errors in this
year Post UTME clearance exercise.

SOME COMMON MISTAKES MADE DURING UNIBEN CLEARANCE

  1. Do ensure you used a correct passport photograph in
terms of background and clarity. RED
passport photographs on JPEG format and at a compatible KB.
  1. Make sure that the DATE of birth on your WAEC/NECO
Certificates should be same as those used during your Post UTME
application. If there exists any variation get an Affidavit to that effect. You can contact us to enquire if you
    need an affidavit.
  1. They way your name is spelt and in the order of
arrangement in your O’level Result/Certificate, that is the way it should
be type/enter during the online clearance processing.
      Example: If your name is
MARK (surname, last, family name) LUKE (middle) JOHN (first        name) please DO NOT use JOHN (making
it your Surname) LUKE MARK (First name).
I have witnessed incidences of students
disqualified and sent back home as a result of them       introducing their choice names by the Clearance officials of
the University of Benin
  1. If the SSCE result you are to use for the UNIBEN clearance
is up to Two (2) years or older,
your original certificate is thus ready, ensure to used it during the
online clearance and not the online printout.
  1. Also your Local Government “CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN is needed
for the clearance. This can be obtained from your Local Government
secretariat in your state OR from your state secretariat in other states (especially
    cities, e.g Abuja),
but if you find it difficult to obtain, get an Affidavit of Local government
    to that effect.
  1. For Birth Certificate,
if you don’t have one don’t worry much, it can be done (sworn) at any High
court in the country and we have a very Good one in Warri/Benin. You can
do that before or during your clearance.
  1. For Affidavit
    of Good Conduct
    and Non
    membership of secret courts
, those could be done in Warri/Benin, don’t
    Panic!!!
  1. Original JAMB
    Result
    and Admission letter
these can be obtain in personally in our office or from us online, (you
are advised to get the one that bears your photograph, if you don’t have
this, click here to get yours.)
WE OFFER THE SERVICE OF ONLINE CLEARANCE AND AFFIDAVIT TYPING.
