3.2 SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
1.0 Applications are invited from suitable and qualified candidates for
admission into the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti for Part-Time programmes in
the 2016/2017 Academic Session leading to the award of National Diploma (ND) in
the following Part-Time programmes.
(A) Agricultural &
Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subjects
which must include:
(i) English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
(ii) Plus any one of Biology/Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry,
Technical Drawing, Economics, Further Mathematics, ICT, Data Processing,
Computer, Statistics
(B) Agricultural Technology
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subjects
which must include:
(i) English, Mathematics, Chemistry and one (1) of Biology/Agricultural
Science/Animal Husbandry
(ii) Plus any one (1) of Physics, Economics, Geography, ICT, Data
Processing, Computer, Statistics, Food & Nutrition
(C) Civil Engineering
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subjects
which must include:
(i) English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
(ii) Plus any one (1) of Technical Drawing, Building Drawing,
Economics, Further Mathematics, Data Processing, ICT, Computer, Statistics,
Civic Education, Geography, Building Construction, Block Laying, Decoration,
Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, Carpentry and Joinery, Woodwork.
However, candidates with NABTEB O’ Level results must have a credit
pass in a related Trade Subject in addition to the Credit passes in five (5)
O’Level subject requirements.
(D) Electrical/Electronic
Engineering
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subjects
which must include:
(i) English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
(ii) Plus any one (1) of Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics,
Economics, Geography, Electrical Installation & Maintenance Works,
Radio/Television and Electrical Works, Appliances Maintenance and Repairs,
Instrument Mechanics, Building Drawing, Basic Electronics/Electricity, ICT,
Data Processing, Computer However, candidates with NABTEB O’ Level results must have a credit pass in a related Trade Subject
in addition to the Credit passes in five (5) O’Level subject requirements. OR
National Technical Certificate (NTC) issued by National Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB) with Credit Passes in Mathematics, Integrated Science,
English Language, Physics and a core subject in Electrical/Electronic Trade
Areas which can be in any of the underlisted.
(i) Radio, Television & Electronics works
(ii) Instrument Mechanics
(iii) Appliances Maintenance & Repairs
(iv) Electrical Installation & Maintenance Works.
(E) Mechanical Engineering
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subjects
which must include:
(i) English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
(ii) Plus any one (1) of Biology, Agricultural Science, Animal
Husbandry, FurtherMathematics, Economics, Statistics, Building Drawing,
Technical Drawing, Metal Work, Auto Mechanics, ICT, Data Processing, Computer However, candidates with NABTEB O’ Level results must have a credit
pass in a related Trade Subject relevant to Mechanical Engineering in addition
to the Credit passes in five (5) O’Level subject requirements. OR National
Technical Certificate (NABTEB) in Mechanical Trade Areas with 5 Credit Passes
in Metal Work/Technical Drawing, English Language,  Mathematics, Integrated Physical Science
(i.e. Physics and Chemistry).
(F) Minerals and Petroleum
Resources Engineering Technology
Applicants must possess O’Level credit passes in five relevant subjects
which must include:
(i) English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
(ii) Plus any one (1) of Economics, Geography, Statistics, Further
Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Biology, Agricultural Science, Animal

 Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti for Full-time programmes (Morning and Evening Sessions) in the 2016/2017 Academic Session leading to the award of Higher National Diploma (HND) in the underlisted programmes. 2.1 National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in the
course/programme of choice and five (5)
relevant credits including English Language and Mathematics at the SSCE/NECO or
GCE O’ Level. Candidates are advised to visit the Polytechnic Website (www.fedpolyado.edu.ng)
to avail themselves of the requisite entry requirements for the National
Diploma of each programme that make them prima-facie qualified for the HND
programmes
2.2. A minimum of one year post ND cognate work experience (Industrial
Training) in addition to 2.1.
Candidates seeking for admission into The Federal Polytechnic,
Ado-Ekiti are required to complete the Institution’s application form available
on-line from Monday, 15th August, 2016 to Friday, 30th September 2016.
4.0 PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING
ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM
Candidates should log on to The Polytechnic Portal via applications.fedpolyado.edu.ng
with their Sign-up details
and print out Payment Invoice. Upon printing of invoice, candidates should
proceed to any branch of specified
Banks listed below for payment of twelve thousand five hundred naira
(N12,500.00) only:

After payment, candidates should re-visit the “Apply Portal” and
log in with their account details; complete the Application Form; submit and
print the completed Application Form.
