UNN POST BASIC NURSING IN ANAESTHESIA 2015



UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA TEACHING HOSPITAL, ITUKU/OZALLA


POST BASIC NURSING TRAINING PROGRAMME IN ANAESTHESIA ADMISSION FOR 2015/2016 SESSION.

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the above mentioned Training Programme for 2015/2016 Session.

Duration of the course is 18 months.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Be a registered Nurse (RN) with a current license
2. Have at least 3 years post qualification experience preferably intensive care and/or theatre unit
3. Hold the West African School Certificate or General Certificate of Education, Ordinary Level with credits in English Language, Mathematics. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.


METHOD OF APPLICATIONS:

Application forms arc obtainable from the Post Basic Nurse Anesthetist Programme on presentation of receipt of payment of non-refundable fee of N5, 000.00. Completed application forms must be returned to the Co-coordinator of the Post Basic Nurse Anesthetist Programme, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Itukul/Ozalla, Enugu with 2 self addressed and stamped envelopes to reach him on or before 31st of August. 2015.

EXAMINATION

The Entrance Examination for new intake into 2015/2016 session is scheduled to take place on 1st – 31st September, 2015.

INTERVIEW

The interview for new intakes into the School for 2015/2016 session is scheduled to take place from 5th, 6th and 7th October, 2015 at the School Hall, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Old Site, Enugu.

ACCOMMODATION

The hospital has limited accommodation to offer to selected candidates during the period of the Course.
